ATHLETICS:
· Today, the tennis team will play against Live Oak at North Park.
· The Lady Cats golf team will play at Clark Park.
· The JV Lady Cats softball team will play in their Jamboree at Brusly.
· The varsity baseball team will play away at Destrehan and the freshmen baseball team will play at Central.
· Good luck to our wrestling team. They will be traveling today to compete in the LHSAA State Championships in Bossier City.
· Tomorrow is Senior Night for our Lady Cats basketball team. Walker High students will get in free with your student ID. Start making plans to come out and support our Lady Cats!!
ALL STUDENTS:
· HOSA will be selling Hugs Barrell drinks on FRIDAY at all 3 lunch shifts in the circles for $1.50. Card only.
· If you received an invitation from Mrs. Payne to participate in District Literary Rally on March 15, please remember to complete the Google Form provided on the invitation by this Friday, February 14th.
· Students, here is a chance to help others … our Special Education department is collecting prom attire for male and female SDA students through February 21st. They will have a prom on March 15th. These items can be brought to room 402 and are greatly appreciated.
· Don’t forget to sign up for ACT Bootcamp. The dates are Wednesday, February 26 and Thursday, February 27, 2:45 - 4:45 pm. The cost is $50. The deadline to sign up is Friday, February 21st. You can sign-up through the school online payment system.
· Yesterday during homeroom, a Prom Handout was given out. If you did not get a handout you can pick one up from the Wildcat Window or the Annex. The electronic clearance is now open. If you are attending prom you need to start that clearance process or your tickets will not be released. Tickets will go on sale on March 6th.
