FFA:

This week is FFA week. FFA was created in 1928 as the Future Farmers of America; however, the name was changed to the National FFA Organization in 1988 to reflect the growing diversity of agriculture. FFA encompasses topics from Poultry and Livestock to Leadership and Biotechnology. Our organization has grown and includes anyone from any background.

Remember to look for the cow emblem and FFA emblem hidden on campus. If you find the cow emblem or FFA emblem, bring it to the Ag building Room 5004 to get your prize!

Also, today FFA will be hosting AG Olympics at all lunch shifts. Today's challenge is a sack race. Come participate in this friendly competition. Those who participate will receive a prize.

Today, we also celebrate FFA Alumni day. The FFA alumni and support system plays a huge role in student and chapter success. The FFA has left its mark on many alumni members that continue to support the FFA with or without their blue jacket on. If you know an FFA alumni let them know how special they are today.

MENUS:

Lunch Line:  Chicken & Sausage Gumbo and potato salad

Next Breakfast:  Chicken biscuit
