ATHLETICS:
· Today, our JV and Varsity baseball teams will be playing at home against Doyle. JV starts at 4pm, followed by Varsity.
· Our boys’ golf team will play at Copper Mill today.
· Our tennis team has a match at North Park against St. Michael.
· Congratulations to the wrestling team on a great performance at the State Championships. Kye Karcher placed 3rd, becoming the first 4-time state placer for Walker High School. Willow Dixon placed 5th! Great job Wildcats!
ALL STUDENTS:
· Today, we will have a sophomore meeting with Jostens regarding class rings.
· Today, Pizza and Jesus that is sponsored by FCA has been moved to T-430 (by the bus drop-off) during all 3 lunch shifts. We will be testing in Papa Johns so do not go there today.
· Don’t forget to sign up for ACT Bootcamp. The dates are Wednesday, February 26 and Thursday, February 27, 2:45 - 4:45 pm. The cost is $50. The deadline to sign up is Friday, February 21st. You can sign-up through the school online payment system.
· Prom Handouts have been distributed. Extra copies are available at the Wildcat Window or the Annex. EVERY current Walker High student MUST CLEAR. You need to start that clearance process now so that your ticket can be released on time. This is an electronic clearance. Instructions and the link are on the handout. Tickets will go on sale on when we return from Mardi Gras break on March 6th.
