ATHLETICS:
· Congratulations to the Lady Cats basketball team for their big win over Live Oak last night.
· Tonight, will be Student Night at the boys’ basketball game for Walker High Students, but YOU MUST SHOW YOUR SCHOOL ID to get in free. You will also receive a ticket that you can redeem after the 1st quarter of the varsity game for a free slice of pizza. Freshmen start at 5pm, followed by JV & Varsity. Come out to support your Wildcats and get some Free Pizza!!!
· Today letterman jacket orders will be taken in the new gym lobby during all 3 lunch shifts.
· Best of luck to our wrestling team today as they participate in the City Championships which start this afternoon.
· Also, the JV and Varsity baseball teams will be scrimmaging tomorrow against Catholic Pointe Coupee.
· Attention all students that signed up for Track & Field: there will be an informational meeting on Monday immediately after school in the cafeteria. Please make plans to stay Monday for this meeting.
· Also, on Monday, we will have “Meet the Wildcats Spring Edition” where we will recognize our student-athletes for Baseball, Softball, Golf, Tennis and Indoor Track. It will start at 6pm in Wildcat Gymnasium.

· Valentine's Day packages are now available for purchase at the Cookie Site and at PJs Coffee of Walker! Students, you are reminded that NO OUTSIDE DELIVERIES ARE ACCEPTED so check out what is available at our onsite stores…..
o You can stop by the Cookie Site, the table outside of the cafeteria on your lunch shift, or visit our website to purchase! Packages start at just $5! Orders close on Wednesday, February 12th.
o Walk-in’s are accepted at PJs Coffee of Walker to purchase a package or you can scan the QR code that was sent out in the app and on social media. The deadline to order is February 12th.
· Tutoring opportunities are available in Algebra I & II, English, Social Studies, Spanish, and Geometry. Please check with your teacher for the tutoring schedule so that you can take advantage of this opportunity.
· Next Wednesday will be the grade and excuse cutoff for this interim. Please make sure you are caught up on make-up work and that you have turned in all your excuses before Wednesday!
SENIORS:
· Today, you can order last-minute senior supplies and make payments in the Wildcat Gymnasium Lobby during all three lunch shifts.
· Seniors, be sure to check out the scholarship opportunities that have been posted on the app under Scholarships. There are some upcoming deadlines. You don't want to miss out on these.
