ATHLETICS:
· Congratulations to Esports Smash Brothers Team of Will Rotolo, Noah Stephenson, and Bradley Morrison for 3-0 win over Chinquapin High School from Highlands, Texas.
· Congratulations to the Lady Cat golf team for the team win at City Park yesterday. Evelynn Artieta placed second overall.
· Good luck to our wrestling team as they compete in the LHSAA State Wrestling Championships today.
· Tonight, is Senior Night for our Lady Cats basketball team. Walker High students will get in FREE with your student ID. Come out and support your Lady Cats!!
· The Lady Cats varsity softball team will be in the Brusly Jamboree today!
· The boys’ basketball team will play tonight at Dutchtown. Freshmen start at 5pm, followed by JV & Varsity.
· Our varsity baseball team will be playing in the Destrehan tournament today and tomorrow. Our freshmen baseball team will play at home in the Wildcat Freshmen tournament today and tomorrow.
ALL STUDENTS:
· Today, the Cookie Site will be closed so they can deliver everyone’s Valentine orders. The Cookie Site would like to thank you for supporting their onsite store. They will reopen on Monday.
· Also, today, during all 3 lunch shifts, HOSA will be selling Hugs Barrell Drinks in the circle areas for $1.50 each. Card only.
· On Monday we will have a sophomore meeting with Jostens regarding class rings. You will receive more information about this through Kinvo.
· Don’t forget to sign up for ACT Bootcamp. The dates are Wednesday, February 26 and Thursday, February 27, 2:45 - 4:45 pm. The cost is $50. The deadline to sign up is Friday, February 21st. You can sign-up through the school online payment system.
· Prom Handouts have been distributed. Extra copies are available at the Wildcat Window or the Annex. The electronic clearance is now open. If you are attending prom you need to start that clearance process now so that your tickets can be released. Tickets will go on sale on when we return from Mardi Gras break on March 6th.
